I loved everything about this story. First the cover: the colors are so beautiful, the flowers, the kind of ghostly look. Everything is just great.
The writing itself was just amazing. Watch over me was written in a way that had me feeling almost melancholic. The concept was beautiful and the personification of ones trauma was displayed beautifully. I would love to live in that house. The sadness that the main character is constantly feeling is so realistic. She always feels as if she’s alone despite always being surrounded by people.
An over thinker until the end, I loved this main character as if it were me living this story. I would definitely recommend this until the end of my days. It was a quick read, nothing over the top, and instantly made me want to keep reading more books off all types. I’d consider it a good book to get out of a reading slump! 5/5 stars from me.
