I don't give away spoilers in my reviews. Thank you to Nina LaCour and Dutton /Penguin Random House for a copy of Watch Over Me. The cover is lovely and I really liked the format of the bigger than a standard paperback. I found it easier to read.
Watch Over Me (to me) was a book of forgiveness. Not in the traditional sense of forgiveness-more of a story of forgiving yourself set in a story about an abandoned young woman.
I loved the main character as well as her student. I found both to be heartbreaking, strong and sad. The setting of a farm as a school was also very interesting and the perfect setting for the field.
I don't want to give anything away. Watch Over Me was an afternoon read and was a story about kindness.
