First Look Review: I haven't read the first book referenced in the description so normally I would skip reading anything from a sequel. However, the cover of the book was so visually appealing that it piqued my interest. It is visually creative and just so unique looking.
The story itself was easy to read. There was enough information to give me an impression of events that happened in the first book, so I didn't feel confused about what was going on with the main character. The setting description was well done so I was able to visualize it while reading the story.
The overall theme of the story regarding trauma and forgiveness was a beautiful one. I look forward to reading the full copy of the story
