This story I more of a 4.5 stars out of 5. It really was a beautiful story. Prior to this I had no idea this was a follow up to a previous story. In my opinion, this didn’t not read like a sequel where I couldn’t keep up with the story. I have a soft spot for stories with heavy character development. Mila was headstrong, but you never forgot how young she is. I’m glad the story was so direct, but I feel like I was wanting more. Reading about someone else’s loneliness made me feel so alone. I was really able to be in milas mind. The cover is absolutely stunning as well. Once I finished this book, I didn’t feel completely attached to the story anymore. No hangover. Overall an emotional story with magical and deep writing.
