This brought up so much emotion for me. I don't know if I've ever felt so connected to a character after the first page but it was almost immediate with Mila and I'm not in her situation at all. The writing draws you in from the beginning and you already feel this intense darkness or sadness or that something is coming that will be bigger than even my imagination can come up with. I cannot wait to read more because, while I can already tell this book will ruin my life, I welcome it!
