There's just something that calls out to me about plots that involve people with no other real options in life but to do what is offered to them. And of course, what could come about with your only option when you have no one or no where else to turn to because you literally have no family to fall back on?
Nina Lacour always writes amazing books that get you thinking because they're so realistic. I have a feeling that this one will be part terrifying and part heartbreaking. I definitely need to get my hands on this one to see what all could go wrong when the main character trusts the wrong people and takes up this job, where they weren't completely honest with her!
