My first impression of the book was that it was very intriguing. I kept wanting to read more. I enjoyed reading about Mila and getting little bits and pieces of her background. Obviously there was something traumatic that happened to her—and possibly to her mother—in which she feels responsible for. The setting for the book is also intriguing because it is remote with little contact with the outside world. I’m eager to continue with Mila’s story to find out how she copes with her knew job, surroundings and the ghosts who reside there.
