As someone who went through foster care, it’s always interesting to me to see fellow foster kids represented. This is a very interesting take. It combines the familiar element with an unsuspecting setting and then weaves it around a supernatural one, where everything is the threads of a spider’s web, far-reaching and all intersecting. It’s fascinating.
