This seems like a book for me. I think this is one I would really love to read in its entirety. The cover is elegant but also a bit creepy-like. After reading the pages provided for initial impression, I'd have to say I was intrigued from page one. Who wouldn't want to be alone in solitude, get away, and have the beautiful view while doing so? But also, we know in stories we've read that this kind of set up is not always what it seems, and though there's been other thriller/ghost stories written with this type of set up, I don't think one has been written from this point of view in which past traumas can surface by someone aging out of foster care and needing to start new on their own two feet in a place like this. Additionally, I've never read this author but it appears her prose is beautiful, from other reviews I've seen about her. Hoping to read this one!
