Let's start with the cover; it in itself is alluring in a way that just screams mystery and intrigue. It's also a beautiful work of art and I'd be tempted to purchase this book based on that and the synopsis alone!
From the extract of the book I am instantly gripped but the storyline. I love that there is a lot left initially unexplained and the manner in which those revelations are slowly revealed is very refreshing. The writing style is really easy to follow and the language used caters to all levels of readers as it is very easy to understand. However, I did find a handful of descriptions a bit clumsy and I ended up getting a bit tangled in what was being said. This did not take away from the overall reading experience-which was very pleasant. Will definitely be adding this to my TBR pile!!
