I'm so excited that Nina LaCour has a new book out, and based on this First Impression, I'm dying to read it! I can tell that Mila is going to be a character full of depth and emotion. Her back story is quite mysterious and obviously sad. I wonder how it connects to her ability to see ghosts everywhere. I'm tremendously intrigued by the farm also. The Terry and Julia seem so kind and wonderful, but it seems like such an unusual setting with such very specific rules and practices. Between that, the ghosts, and the isolated spaces, there is an air of mystery surrounding the entire farm and its inhabitants. I would love to read the rest of this to find out more about Mila's past, particularly the fire, and see how she fares at the farm. I have a feeling that nothing is as it truly seems.
