This example pulled me in so quickly!!! The writing is very good and I'd expect nothing less from this author. There is definitely not something right about the farm. There's ghosts on the farm but Mila has ghosts in her past too. Whatever happened with Blake and her mom has been haunting her. Blake sounds truly terrifying. I loved Mila teaching Lee and he seems like a very interesting character as well. The host parents at the farm seem nice but there is something underlying that is very creepy about them. I wonder why Nick interviews new kids for them and he only sleeps well when he is sleeping with his brother? Why do the kids who have left keep returning? This book seems very gripping in just the first 65 pages. I cannot wait to keep reading this one!!!
