When I saw the cover I thought of a young woman in search of answers. After reading the excerpt I am intrigued to see how Mila’s backstory will unfold.Mila seemed so happy to go anywhere because she was aging out of the foster system. I feel as if Mila’s history will intersect in some way with the ghosts. Also I feel as if Lee will be very important to Mila in some way. I am intrigued by the idea of all these foster children finding a family on the farm and would like to learn more about how and why the farm was created. The ghost so far seem like they are an integral part of the story. I am now anxious to read this book.
