Love the opening of this book, Mila is immediately engaging. The casual, every day occurrence of the ghosts in these early chapters is great, some many people haunted by so many things. I want to know all the secrets. It seems like a perfect place, even with ghosts every is just going about their business. And Mila's loneliness is palpable, her understanding of young Lee and how to make him feel better is a lovely moment.
