A good ghost story always captures my interest. However, “Watch Over Me” intrigues me more by what happened in the heroine’s past then by the ghosts mentioned In this excerpt. Scary ghosts aren’t enough to make a good story. Any good novel needs a thickening plot that draws the reader into the developing story and that’s exactly what this novel is doing so far. Occasionally the author seems to struggle with the Clarity of her writing style, and I find myself rereading small parts of a paragraph to see if I missed something, but overall I’m enjoying this novel and I would certainly purchase it.
