An excerpt so good, it's painful.

This book is so emotionally good, that it HURTS. I thought that what Nina LaCour did in "We Are Okay" was superb and she continued that same epicness here.

This story is already emotionally haunting and it feels like another one focused on character development. Not only is Mila living on a haunted farm, but there are flashbacks to her childhood that feel even creepier (and very wrong) than the ghosts she sees on the farm.

I'm inclined to say that this is going to be a character analysis, once again, so if you're a plot-loving fiend, don't bother with this one. But, if you want to have ALL the FEELS, read this one!!

I'm going to have to go out to my library today and see which other LaCour books I can get my hands on!
