I won this book off of goodreads and honestly didn't know what to expect. I've honestly never researched other countries histories and so I went into this book blind.
The book is set in the future where the country of Nigeria is in a civil war with the new republic of Biafra. This is following an evacuation of the world due to high radiation being over the majority of it. There is also a lot of high technology creating what is called Augments and Synths.
Altogether, it creates a very unique and interesting story of a very different war than what we've seen today. It also teaches about a culture I've honestly not researched much. I am definitely interested to see what the next book brings!
