This book was very enjoyable and action packed. I had no idea what was going to happen next for the entirety of the book. The characters were portrayed so well that I feel as though I know them personally. War Girls took me on a journey into a war-filled, dystopian world that I kinda fell in love with. The depth of this book was impressive to me. The main characters’ story was so believable and smooth that I felt as though they were real. Tochi Onyebuchi does a fabulous job of creating characters and giving them intricate personalities based on their backgrounds. The middle section to me felt a little flat plot-wise, but other than that I loved the book. I loved watching Onyii fight and Ify be too smart for her age. This book is great for any Young Adult fan searching for action and adventure!
