This book is fantastic. It is inspired in part by the Nigerian Civil War, so I recommend reading a bit about that before reading this book, so it is more easily understandable and you have better comprehension. I think the futuristic setting and the concerns are very applicable today- climate change, war, etc. I thought the writing was done very well, and even though the book is quite long, it doesn't feel super long. I think this could be a great futuristic novel to read, which also helps you learn about the past.
