I'm not a big fan of YA, but I'm doing the whole point gathering thing on here, so it is what it is.
Here's the thing - I'm sure that this one could have been pretty decent in terms of appealing to the high pitched teen crowd...but....
-This is just a Black Panther fanfic, but without *any* of the actual terms or approaches used in Black Panther because Disney doesn't play around with its copyrights. And Disney ate Marvel and will let it slowly starve.
- Fanfic can have its place. But only when it actually is allowed to operate within that world. I'm sure this would have had a lot of attention on something like AO3.
-The thing is, without the content it was based on... it's just another teen girl with a savior complex.
-That, in turn, makes it nothing to write home about, which is probably why it had moderate press up to before it was released and then no one heard anything about it ever again.
