Just by looking at the cover with a beautiful black woman in a bionic body, this book appears to be an Afrofuturistic tale with the typical goal of peace for the protagonists. What makes me want to read War Girls is how the story will unfold, including the world of 2172. How will technology be re-imagined in the future? Will the sisters achieve their goals? With Tochi Onyebuchi at the helm, I'm sure the writing will be good, and the characters and the story won't be superficial.
