I read and tried to like Beasts Made of Night. The concept was so interesting but the execution was lacking. I'm hoping with Onyebuchi's third novel, he's found the right groove. The premise of War Girls sounds really intriguing and something I could really get into. I love futuristic sci fi. The excerpt reminds me of District 9 and Elysium where it's the future and tech has advanced so far but people are still poor and starving. Really looking forward to continuing this one! I love the cover with the girl against a bright blue background, it really pops!
