This seems to have a lot to offer - futuristic, Nigeria setting, climate change, women of color, sisters (I love stories with sisters). It seems like it may be high fantasy which isn't my strong suit. Plus it's also a series starter so I'd probably hold off, but I think I'd give it a chance.
