Wow I am blown away with my first impression.
The world building down at that beginning is flawless- the picture is painted, the stage is set! This is so critical in fantasy.
The main character seems steady too, despite the hardships she’s been dealt and evidently still has to face.
The writing was exceptional and the front cover is beautiful and perfect- judging on the cover alone I would buy this book
