I was completely hooked from the very first page. It's clear from the start that what these girls have gone through (and presumably, WILL go through during the book) is horrible. But they hold on to the love they have for each other, which is apparent in the sister relationship we're introduced to in the sample, in addition to the friendships we can see exist. I am so, so curious to read more about the girls' lives and world, even though I'm pretty sure it's going to be heartbreaking too. Cannot wait to read the rest of the story!!
