This sample was overall good. There was a well done introduction of the characters and the setting, at a reasonable pace.
The cover is attractive, definitely caught my eye. It has a good color scheme and defined lines which do emphasize the story.
This sample left off at a cliffhanger, so I am interested to see where it leads.
