War Girls is a child soldier narrative set in a post-nuclear fallout world. The technology and setting in Nigeria make a clear connection with Black Panther, cited as part of the author's inspiration. While that alone is probably enough to garner substantial readership, even in this short teaser the characters spring to life and demand your attention. I'd love to see where this goes, especially since the blurb indicates a rich story focused on sisters and survival, rather than romance and survival.
