The description of the novel brings about the same feel of Afrofuturism as shown in novels from such great writers as N.K. Jemisin,Tananarive Due, Nnedi Okorafor & Octavia Butler. The cover is a good design although the pose is highly suggestive of the overly sexualized women's poses in comics and graphic novels. I would prefer that a less overtly sexualized image be used.
