Wake Up,Wanda Wiley was a surprisingly good little story that I went by fairly quickly. I especially enjoyed the bits with Hannah trying to teach Trevor about the world that they were both in while Wanda was unsure of what to write. It was cute to see the characters of a book be alive and aware of their author.
The parts with Wanda were a bit sad at times as she has discovered that she is in a rut with both her writing and her bad relationship with current boyfriend Dirk. Dirk is a real piece of work who constantly demeans and cheats on Wanda. This leads Wanda to smoking pot to deal with the pain.
Luckily she has both Hannah and then Trevor rooting for her and trying to help out while she discovers the path to take with her relationship and her life. I liked this book.
