I didn't go into this book expecting all that much. The premise was very interesting and the writing was nice enough for me not to DNF it the moment I started reading it, so I thought, 'why not give it a shot'. I'm kind of glad I did that.
I haven't exactly read a book like this before where we're in the mind of the writer and I just thought that that idea was pretty cool. I think the fact that it was an idea that I've never encountered before really worked in it's favor because it kept me involved and interested in reading it. It's not really much of a read to me but it wasn't bad. The idea of it was definitely what makes if a four star rather than a three star for me.
Needless to say, I enjoyed it enough.
