I read this on kindle unlimited, and after reading this, I have a problem with the tag line. It said it's 'the most original romantic comedy you'll read all year', but I disagreed. I don't think a romantic comedy would feature a protagonist with an abusive boyfriend. The parts with Hannah and Trevor were good, but everything else was lackluster, and it seems like it'd read more like a literary fiction than a rom-com. It wasn't a book I enjoyed, the authors writing style wasn't my favorite and I think I had too many expectations for this story. I would've gave it three stars, but I knocked off one because at the end where Dirk called Wanda a dumb b*tch, I felt it unnecessary to have it in Dirk's point of view, but if it just ended with Wanda talking to Hannah I think I would've liked it more.
