We start the book off with Wanda's two characters letting each other in the "fog". Hannah is from Wanda's period piece romance series, and Trevor is from her new action ghostwriting project.
I did not like how quickly it jumped into this, and already I really didn't like the character's or the writing voice. Also seemed a bit to stereotypical. A woman who writes romance, trying to ghostwrite an action... It just could have been done, but honestly would have been better with a woman at the helm! It felt like it was written by a man.
