I love the premise for this book but I'm kinda iffy based on the excerpt if this is the right book for me. I didn't think it was the smoothest introduction as it almost felt like I was just thrown into the middle of the story. Based on the banter between the two characters, I just don't know if I really want to stick around and find out what's going to happen next.
