I found this book incredibly riveting, and could not put it down. The protagonist, Cadie, was very complex, but still likeable. Even though she frequently made choices I wished she would not, I still found myself rooting for her to the end. I was also very invested how her story would play out, and what truly happened during that summer. I would give this a definite recomendation to anyone in need of a deeply emotional, mysterious character study.
