I was a huge fan of “Where the Crawdads Sing” because of the appreciation for the beauty of nature plus the suspenseful coming of age / mystery. I thought it was such a niche set of concepts that I wouldn’t see anything else like it - but I am SO happy to be wrong!”Waiting for the Night Song” gives me the impression of a recognition of the world around us while racing through a mysterious and suspenseful revelation of long-kept secrets.
