The writing is beautiful and the main character Cadie is interesting and likable so far. However, I am not so invested in discovering the secret. This is reasonable as I am only a couple of chapters into the book. Perhaps after discovering more I would be more compelled. I am curious what original aspect the author will bring to the common 'mystery by the lake' idea.
