The writing is so lovely & the plot seems very interesting so far! I feel completely invested already! I grew up with a very close best friend & it reminds me of my childhood a little. It also reminds me of a New England version of Tom Sawyer for some reason which is great since I love that story but maybe with some added mystery? I can’t wait to read it if I get the chance! It’s one I think I’ll still pick up even if I don’t get chosen but I’m crossing all my fingers & toes in hope that I get chosen! I can’t wait to see where this story goes! Also, the book cover is absolutely beautiful!
