What I have seen of the writing so far has been emotional, descriptive, and powerful. It reminds me of how I felt when I read Where the Crawdad's Sing, which is a VERY good thing. I am also drawn to stories about female friendships, which I see (in my life and opinion) as the most meaningful and intense relationships to explore. I am VERY excited to read this one.
