The cover and the colors of this one are beautiful and the writing is great. I can really get a feel for the setting and the Carrick Dalton really conveys an ominous tone throughout. However, I'm just not clicking with the main character Cadie. There may be a perfect reason for the chip on her shoulder, but just in these first few chapters its a bit off putting to me.
