The cover drew me in immediately. It’s like a painting. Really beautiful. Just like the author’s writing style. I love the way the author describes what is happening. It feels real. Like what is happening could have actually happened. I love that.
The emotion and senses were all there. Especially in that flashback.
I also love how we jump right into the story. Even though we practically walked in on a scene already in place, I wasn’t lost or confused. I thought that it was a perfect way to start things off.
The author has also done a good job so far of creating characters and plot structure. We can see how intelligent our main character is and I really like her so far. I’m also really intrigued by what has happened. The suspense of everything is amazing. I’m excited to see what else is in store.
