What I liked about this book was that it represented environmental problems in a non-science-fiction way. I feel for Cadie's helplessness from being faced with a real problem affecting her community and not having anyone prioritize or even care.
The cover, though, wasn't very aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. To me, it doesn't stand out from the other books and looks a little too plain.
