I really like the cover. That is what first peaked my interest. Cadie loves nature and wants to do everything she can to protect it. When she was young, she lived in the country where she developed her love for nature. When she finds Daniela picking berries, they find a chance at friendship. There are two mysteries revealed early. Who does the empty boat belong to? Who was found? The writing is very smooth. I really enjoyed this sample.
