My first though when viewing the cover was, that the book was probably about a summer love or summer fling. It has the dreamy lakery vibes, with the lake at dawn and the scene pink/ purple. When reading the description I realized it's not what i thought at first. It's about a story of two best friends who made a mistake when little, that rooted they're friendship. And after years when information of the crime start to emerge out of nowhere they have to unite to solve it. This style of mystery book it's not usually what I read, howevere it does seem interesting to have a look at. The scenery of the cover reminds me of the wedding scene in the crazy rich asians movie for some reason.
