Cadie Kessler seems like an engaging main character, a strong female lead who seems to really know how to get things done in a pinch outdoors. I really liked the writing style from the little bit I read; the author really knows how to paint a scene for the readers. I'm interested to see how entomology and beetles work into the larger story about Cadie's life.
