Oh boy, that boat just reeks troubleeeee. Everything about it and how Cadie found it is ominous and that voice in the back of my head is sounding the alarm and screaming no no no no no. Especially when you mix that with the texts between her and Daniela when they're older and how the first chapter ends. Dalton paints solid pictures with her use of imagery. I just wish I knew how old Cadie was in that flashback. I'm guessing 12 or 13 though based on how her character and Daniela's are written.
