As someone who loves suspense without reading a thriller, this is a must read for me. If you enjoyed “Where the Crawdads Sing” I think you’ll enjoy this, too. Cadie the main character is driven by doing what’s right and protecting what she loves. Daniela enters the picture and shakes that all up. The chapters are well written, the cover of the book intrigues you and I definitely want more!
