Too Fast

I think this book has promise but from what I thought of the First Look, the story seemed to be unraveling way too fast. The whole premise of this book is that Virgil gets into a car accident where he suffers a brain injury that gives him short term memory loss and he kind of forgets how to go about his life as he did before. However, the accident, the diagnosis, and the release from the hospital all take place in less than five pages. I would have liked more details about the accident, more details about the hospital stay, and more specifics about the extent of his injuries.

The beginning just took off way too fast for me and I feel like as a reader I would get thrown into the aftermath of this accident without really getting a good description or understanding of it. Maybe this book picks up in a really positive way, and I would still be interested to read more of it.
