I am clearly in the minority on Virgil Wander. This book for me was a very slow read - it took me a few weeks to get it read. I really enjoyed the author's character development however - I thought that he created original interesting and quirky characters. The book to me was very slow paced and difficult for me to get in to. The author did an excellent job of describing the small town which is the setting for his novel. That being said - I normally tend to read more mysteries and thrillers - so I don't want to sway anyone away from reading it due to my opinion. Its just my preference to read something much faster paced. This is my first book to read by this author. I would still check out his other books.
