You have to wonder sometimes that beautiful prose does not make a book. Eloquent enough but as I wandered through this book I was sure what to actually think.

What did I think? As I read this book it really just felt like I was wandering around the pages trying to establish what glue was holding these pages together.
The cast of characters that surrounded Virgil was as uncanny as the book. It took awhile before I figured out how the characters knew each other and it’s telling when I announce my favorite character was a raccoon bully.

Would I buy or recommend? If you can make sense of my review your liable to enjoy the book. I can not say myself if I enjoyed any part despite the fact I was relieved that Virgil lived through the car going over the bridge. His recovery was the most interesting aspect. My copy also had just a blank cover for a ARC.

Thanks bookish firsts for a copy to read and I voluntarily left a review. Fence book. Three stars.
