Leif Enger is a fabulous author, and the combination of the beautiful cover, combined with his prior works made me eager to read this book. And his beautiful language leaves the reader wanting more.
I definitely plan on purchasing/checking out from library this book. Any trauma with the brain is a fascinating case study to me, and I am eager to find out how Virgil gets his life back.
I will say, a better review can be written if more than just 1-3 chapters are offered to the reviewer. I understand not much more can be released, especially of a book that hasn't been released yet. But it can be tricky to write an accurate book review unless you have the first 30-50 pages. Usually, if a reader doesn't connect with the story by then, it's time to put the book down.
